The entire fight card consists of four main card fights and eight preliminary bouts. This will be the first time the UFC has traveled to New Orleans since UFC 37.
The following slides display the betting odds and predictions for each fight.
Let's take a look...
Justin Edwards vs. Jorge Lopez
1 of 12Justin Edwards and Jorge Lopez will square off at UFC Fight Night 25 in a very underrated welterweight bout.
Between both fighters they have just one appearance in the UFC Octagon and have never been on a bigger stage.
Edwards will look to take Lopez down soon after action begins and submit him. Lopez, who's never been submitted will need to prove he can defend against the takedown.
If Lopez can stay out of submission's way and stick to his game plan of wearing down Edwards, look for this bout to go to a decision.
Prediction: Lopez by R3 Unanimous Decision
Mike Lullo vs. Robert Peralta
2 of 12Mike Lullo and Robert Peralta will meet in one of the more unpredictable fights at UFC Fight Night 25.
Lullo surprised a lot of people is his most recent bout against Edson Barboza where he took us to the third round of action before being knocked out.
Peralta, just as impressive, will engage in action early and test Lullo's stand up.
Lullo will attempt to take the fight to the ground and catch Peralta. If Peralta can respond and keep the fight on his feet he should leave New Orleans victorious.
Prediction: Peralta by R2 TKO
TJ Waldburger vs. Mike Stumpf
3 of 12TJ Waldburger and Mike Stumpf will go toe to toe in a bout that will more than likely not see the judge's scorecards.
What makes this fight more interesting than most is both fighters specialize in the submission.
Waldburger will enter in on Stumpf and attempt to submit him via Armbar or Triangle Choke. Stumpf on the other hand has had past success in submitting his opponents via Rear-Naked Choke.
The biggest question is, which fighter will catch the other?
Prediction: Waldburger by R3 Submission
Clay Harvison vs. Seth Baczynski
4 of 12Seth Baczynski will make his return to the UFC to take on heavy slugger, Clay Harvison.
While many will underestimate this bout, it has potential to be Fight of the Night.
Both Baczynski and Harvison bring explosiveness to the table and rarely ever go the distance. Both fighters are exceptional in the stand up as well as the ground game.
The outcome of this fight may surprise many fans as these fighters will find themselves in a three-round battle.
Prediction: Harvison by R3 Unanimous Decision
Ken Stone vs. Donny Walker
5 of 12Stone enters UFC Fight Night 25 looking to get his career back on track against his opponent, Donny Walker.
Stone who's been everything but impressive in his last four bouts is in desperate need of a victory. He will look to end this fight early and make a point to attack Walker.
Walker on the other hand will be fine with pacing the fight and waiting for the chance to enter in on Stone.
Neither fighter is very familiar going to the judge's scorecards so look for this bout to end via TKO or submission.
Prediction: Walker by R3 TKO
Matthew Riddle vs. Lance Benoist
6 of 12Matthew Riddle and Lance Benoist will enter UFC Fight Night 25 in a match that could be one of the more exciting of the evening.
This bout will be a no brainer as Riddle will look to ground and pound Benoist to a knockout or decision.
Benoist, who has never lost a mixed martial arts fight in his young career will certainly try and submit Riddle.
Something has to give in this bout. If Riddle can't defend the variety of submission attempts he will be in for quick evening.
Prediction: Benoist by R2 Submission
Evan Dunham vs. Shamar Bailey
7 of 12Evan Dunham is coming off two very difficult defeats to Sean Sherk and Melvin Guillard at UFC 119 for Fight For The Troops 2.
He will try and continue his climb towards the top of the Lightweight division when he takes on Shamar Bailey.
Both Dunham and Bailey are well rounded fighters as this bout could remain in the stand up or be taken to the ground.
At the end of the night, Dunham's experience in Jiu Jitsu will be too much for Bailey to handle.
Prediction: Dunham by R3 Unanimous Decision
Cody McKenzie vs. Vagner Rocha
8 of 12Cody McKenzie and Vagner Rocha will square off in what many feel will end in submission.
In fact, of their combined 18 careers victories, 15 of them have come via submission.
At one point in McKenzie's career, he submitted nine straight opponents in the first round of action by way of the Guillotine Choke.
Rocha, who is famous for submitting opponents via Armbar will have his toughest challenge to date.
Prediction: McKenzie by R2 Submission
Alan Belcher vs. Jason MacDonald
9 of 12Alan Belcher and Jason MacDonald will meet at UFC Fight Night 25 in arguably the biggest fights of their careers.
Both fighters have won four of their last five bouts and are making a run to the top of the Middleweight division. A win over one another would be crucial in building a respected title fight resume.
This fight has all the ingredients for Fight of the Night, Knockout of the Night or even Submission of the Night.
MacDonald will not want to go toe to toe with Belcher as he will attempt to take him down early. Belcher, who is a jack of all trades will handle the early pressure well.
Prediction: Belcher by R3 TKO
Jason MacDonald: +220
Alan Belcher: -280
Jonathan Brookins vs. Erik Koch
10 of 12Jonathan Brookins and Erik Koch will take part in easily the most underrated fight of the evening in New Orleans.
This bout will be absolutely explosive as both fighters are coming off the biggest victories of their careers. Koch, is coming off two consecutive Knockout of the Night awards and will look to make it a third.
Brookins' last defeat came by way of knockout against Jose Aldo at WEC 36. In Brookins' defense, he did last three rounds and took Aldo down.
Either fight could end in a knockout and either fight could end in submission.
Prediction: Koch by R3 TKO
Court McGee vs. Dongi Yang
11 of 12Behind the main event, Court McGee and Dongi Yang will feature UFC Fight Night 25 in New Orleans.
This bout will be by far the biggest of each fighter's career up until this point. The winner will continue to build a legitimate resume in the Middleweight division.
Dongi, a knockout mastermind will certainly come out and swing for the fences early. McGee who's never been knocked out in his career is very good in defending strikes.
If McGee can avoid being knocked out, look for this bout to make it to the judge's scorecards.
Prediction: McGee by R3 Unanimous Decision
Jake Shields vs. Jake Ellenberger
12 of 12In the main event of the evening at UFC Fight Night 25, Jake Shields will take on up and coming welterweight star, Jake Ellenberger.
Shields who is coming off his only loss since 2004 to George St-Pierre at UFC 129 will look to get back on the title-shot radar.
Ellenberger, who's hit a hot streak winning eight of his last nine fights will engage in strikes early with Shields. For a fighter who's only been knocked out once in 32 career fights, history is on Shields' side.
Shields will take down Ellenberger early and look to finish him ground and pound style. Ellenberger needs to prove he can hang with Shields' quickness.
Prediction: Shields by R3 Unanimous Decision
Jake Ellenberger: +160
Jake Shields: +-200
