NFL Predictions Week 2: Forecasting the 3 Biggest Mismatches
The season is only a week old and there are already some incredibly predictable matchups.
OK, I know it’s the NFL and the whole “any given Sunday” mantra is a popular saying, but when evaluating the circumstances of injuries, travel and momentum in a given week, making predictions is a lot easier to do.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Steelers are angry. They were humiliated in Week 1 by their division rival and looked very old on defense.
I would pick the Steelers to win no matter who the opponent was. Considering they are playing a terrible QB in Tarvaris Jackson at home, it’s a no-brainer.
The Seahawks offense was incredibly stagnant in their Week 1 loss and Ted Ginn Jr. torched the special teams. They have the look of a 4-12 team.
Expect Ben Roethlisberger to take much better care of the football and have a field day against an average Seahawks defense.
Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers
This game pits the Super Bowl champs against the team with the worst record in the league in 2010 and a rookie QB.
Hmmm.
Aaron Rodgers will have a field day against a Jon Beason-less Carolina D. Having the extra three days of rest helps, too.
Everyone was mesmerized by the record-breaking performance by Cam Newton, but they fail to remember that his team lost to a less-than-stellar Arizona Cardinals squad. The young Panthers still have a long way to go and expect a beatdown in Carolina.
Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans
The Ravens were the most impressive team in Week 1 and head to Nashville with a ton of momentum.
The Titans couldn’t even beat a Luke McCown-led Jaguars team.
Chris Johnson looked incredibly rusty and the rest of the offense was not in sync. Do you think playing the Ravens D is the remedy?
This is going to be a rout from the opening kick with the Ravens defense poised to create multiple turnovers that equate into easy points for the Ravens.
