Week 2 Fantasy Football Projections: 3 Stars Ready to Explode

A quick look at Week 2 reveals three stars that are ready to light up fantasy football scoreboards. So, if you have any of the three following players, you definitely want to start them, and you can just go ahead and start trash-talking your opponent now.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger

Roethlisberger and the Steelers suffered through a miserable day in their opening-game thrashing against the Ravens. This team is not going to take that performance lightly. 

This is far too talented a team to let that putrid performance go unanswered. Luckily for them, the Seattle Seahawks will come rolling into town and make a big bounce back week an easy task.

The Seahawks have a solid rush defense. However, it comes at the expense of their pass rush. This is not a team that can put pressure on the QB as they have defensive linemen built to stop the run.

They also have a suspect secondary and are very thin at corner. The Steelers are going to be able to spread them out and pick them apart.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

The way Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense looked in the first week, Rodgers may be on this list every week. He is definitely on this list when his team is facing the Carolina Panthers' defense.

The Panthers pass defense is going to be overwhelmed by the Packers. The only thing possibly limiting the Rodgers stats will be the large lead the Packers will likely have.

Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner

Michael Turner is always a solid play. I have a feeling that any running back facing the Eagles will be a solid play this year.

So, when I saw Michael Turner is set to play the Eagles my inner light bulb lit up. The Eagles are weak up front on defense. They were gashed by the Rams in the run game, and Turner will gash them even more.

Adding to Turner's stats, and every other RB that faces the Eagles, is that no team will want to pass on this team unless they have to.
