Panthers vs. Cardinals: Watch Cam Newton's Sick Touchdown Vault and Celebration
Carolina Panthers fans will have a difficult time containing their excitement after witnessing such an awe-inspiring performance from their new frontman, who punctuated his already-stellar day with an exclamation point-worthy leap into the end zone.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, the verbal value of this video approaches a googolplex.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The fact that Newton fearlessly calls his own number, the way he seems to defy the laws of physics as he leaps over the line, how he times and judges his jump perfectly, placing the ball just past the plane of the goal line as he completes his descent—these are just a few of the qualities that make the play so memorable.
And then, of course, there's the celebration.
Sure, he got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct on the play and thereby provided his haters with more ammunition against him—nevertheless, the fact that he brought such an intrepid swagger into enemy territory is expressive of a true leader's mindset.
Besides, how much harm is there in playing a little air guitar?
Newton gave a virtuoso performance today, hitting all of the notes to the tune of 24-for-37 passing, 422 yards, three touchdowns (two in the air and one on the ground) and just one interception. The kid had a right to be fired up after strumming away at the Arizona defense with such mellifluous harmony.
Of course, the Panthers went on to lose the game, 28-21, as Newton came up just short on a last-gasp drive late in the fourth quarter. This and a couple of sloppy throws are the only blemishes on an otherwise extraordinary outing.
But there’s no reason for Panthers fans to hang their heads; all signs point to the new man in charge being the real deal.
