Cowboys vs. Jets: TV Info, Over/Under, Spread and Final Pregame Prediction
The New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys both have a lot to prove this season. The Jets have failed in the AFC Championship, and after a horrendous 2010 campaign, the Cowboys look to Jason Garrett to lead them back to glory.
The Jets have the Patriots in their sights, and the Cowboys know they face a serious challenge in the NFC East with the Eagles having the most active offseason in recent memory. Game 1 will let one of these teams try to get over the hump and make a big statement, while the other will appear doomed by the same struggles that plagued them last season.

Over/Under: (41)
Note: Betting lines according to Bodog.
You want to go with the over on this one.
You can expect Miles Austin to struggle on Revis Island, but with Tony Romo coming back, Dallas will still be able to put up points through the air against the Jets.
The Jets' offense lost Braylon Edwards, but it's safe to say they'll be able to move the ball both on the ground and through the air.
Spread: (Jets -6)
Take the Jets.
The Cowboys are a team with upside that should be able to establish themselves as a threat this season.
The Jets are already there. New York is frustrated by its inability to make it to the Super Bowl. A home-opener against a team that didn't make the playoffs isn't exactly making the Jets nervous.
Final Pregame Prediction
Both teams should score their fair share of points, but we've seen teams that excelled under an interim coach tank the following season.
We don't know what the Cowboys have in store for us this season.
We know exactly what the Jets are going to bring.
Rather than rely on what could be, it's safer to fall back on what we know we can expect.
Cowboys 21, Jets 28
