Bengals vs. Browns: TV Info, Over/Under, Spread and Final Pregame Prediction

Kyle VassaloJun 7, 2018

The Bengals and Browns are grossly outmatched in the highly competitive AFC North, but both have young pieces they are hoping become something special. The Bengals had to reconstruct their entire offense and now look to rookie Andy Dalton to lead them to victory.

The Browns might not have had the most impressive record last season, but they proved they can hold their own against some of the best teams the NFL has to offer. These teams are fighting to avoid being the worst team in the division and will look to exit the rebuilding stages as quickly as possible.

Over/Under: (36)

A low over/under comes as no surprise. The Browns have a run game that can really get going, but neither team is exactly an offensive juggernaut. Both teams could easily struggle to get anything going offensively, and even 36 seems too high for this game.

Spread: (Browns -7)

The Bengals might be the worst team in the league this season. Andy Dalton to AJ Green isn't a connection the Bengals probably expect to become a force in Week 1. The Browns aren't the type of team that has the offensive weaponry to blow their opponent out, but Bengals mistakes are going to make this spread manageable for the Browns. Browns -7 is the way to go here.

Final Pregame Prediction

Bengals 10, Browns 21

The Browns aren't exactly an elite team, but the Bengals are going to struggle mightily with a new-look offense, and new faces all over the defense are going to become a liability early on. Expect Peyton Hillis to have a monster day on the way to a big win.
