Eagles vs. Rams: TV Info, Over/Under, Spread and Final Pregame Prediction

The Philadelphia Eagles will travel to St. Louis to battle the Rams in the first step towards the Dream Team Eagles’ run to the Super Bowl.

While the Eagles have made wholesale changes on both sides of the ball, the Rams have the weapons to exploit the issues that Philadelphia did not address this offseason.

TV Info: 1 p.m. EDT, FOX

Over/Under: 44.5

While 44.5 is a fair number, there is a feeling across the NFL that this could be an offensive showing from both teams. Despite the changes the Eagles made on defense, there are still weaknesses at linebacker that Rams running back Steven Jackson will exploit. I would go with the over.

Spread: St. Louis +3.5

While I believe that this game will be close, I don’t think it will be 3.5 point difference when all is said and done. The Eagles offense is too good to win by three and look for at least a seven point differential.

Final Pre-Game Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 34—St. Louis Rams 16

The Philadelphia Eagles are just too good to lose to the lesser Rams, but it will definitely be a test for the supposed Dream Team. St. Louis is one of the best young teams in the NFL, but they’re dream season will not come to fruition until after getting beat down by the Eagles.
