Fantasy Football Week 1: 5 Sleepers Who Will Break out in Week 1, Guaranteed
Everyone is always looking to be the guy (or girl) who picks up that deep sleeper before they break out and then either brags about it all season or uses them as huge trade bait. Arian Foster, anybody?
There will be plenty of sleepers this year that no one will foresee having big seasons, but some of these players leave hints that they are soon to wake up.
Here are five sleepers who will break out in Week 1. You should pick them up and get them on your roster before the games start on Sunday.
5. Roy Helu (RB)
1 of 5Rookie Evan Royster, who the Washington Redskins also drafted this past draft, didn't make the 53-man roster. This is a very good sign for Roy Helu, who only has to compete with Tim Hightower for the starting job in Washington.
Helu is a powerful runner with size and the ability to juke defenders. He fought injuries while playing at Nebraska, but still amassed 1,000 yards in his last two seasons.
I expect Helu to have a big game in Week 1, probably acquiring at least 70 yards and a touchdown. He will be the starter in Washington by Week 4 over Tim Hightower.

4. Davone Bess (WR)
2 of 5Davone Bess isn't even too deep of a sleeper, but he still hasn't had that over-the-top breakout season yet. I think he will have it this year.
Brandon Marshall is clearly the No. 1 wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, but he will be highly defended throughout the season and it will remain to be seen if his personal issues will get in the way of his on-field performance.
Quarterback Chad Henne has a lot to prove this year. He needs to show the Miami fans that he is a starting quarterback who is capable of winning games and making big plays, and Bess may be his best option to go to.

3. Emmanuel Sanders (WR)
3 of 5We got a peek of Emmanuel Sanders' potential last season in his rookie year. Despite limited playing time, he had 376 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
All the pieces are in place for Sanders to have a big year this season. The secret is out on fellow receiver Mike Wallace, and he will therefore be more heavily defended. Hines Ward, who has had a brilliant career, will line up primarily in the slot position, and I expect his production to go way down as he fights the battle with aging.
Ben Roethlisberger knows Sanders at this point and will look his way quite often.
PICK HIM UP NOW!
2. Jason Hill (WR)
4 of 5Jason Hill is no spring chicken in the NFL, but you have probably never heard of him. I barely had until this preseason.
The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver, however, is in an interesting position this season. Jacksonville, after releasing quarterback David Garrard, will start with rookie Blaine Gabbert under center. What this means is that they have committed to Gabbert and plan to build their team around him. Every quarterback needs a go-to receiver, and I think Hill will be this man for Gabbert.
Jacksonville's receiver depth chart is pretty sad. Mike Thomas is most likely the No. 1, followed by Hill and former Rutgers standout Tiquan Underwood. Tight end Marcedes Lewis will also do his fair share of receiving.
In his sixth year in the league, Hill could break out. Brandon Lloyd de ja vu, anybody?
PICK HIM UP NOW!
1. Lee Evans (WR)
5 of 5Lee Evans is entering his eighth year in the NFL, yet I think there is still plenty of gas in the tank. Evans may end up being one of the most pleasant surprises in fantasy this season.
For the first time in Evans' career, he is playing on a team with a legitimate postseason chance. In fact, if his new squad, the Baltimore Ravens, doesn't make the playoffs, many people will be very surprised. Playing on a competitive team can only up Evans' stats, and it will be a refreshing change for him after spending his whole career in Buffalo.
He also has a reliable quarterback (Joe Flacco) throwing him the ball, and Anquan Boldin will line up as the other receiver and decoy many defenders. Evans has all the makings this year of having his third 1,000-yard season.
As I say...
