Marques Colston Injury Update: How Is Saints Star Wideout's Collarbone?
During the New Orleans Saints loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night, the biggest loss wasn't the single tally that will go in the loss column on the Saints' season schedule. The biggest loss was losing star wide receiver Marques Colston to a collarbone injury.
A Saints offense that was sputtering out of the preseason showed well in the opener, but now you have to wonder how well they will play without Colston.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The first word about Colston's injury came down from head coach Sean Payton in a press conference on Friday. Payton would only confirm that Colston had suffered a collarbone injury.
Now, a source is confirming to the New Orleans Times-Picayune that Colston's collarbone is, in fact, broken.
When's He Ready to Return?
FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer, who was the first to report the nature of this injury, says that Colston will be expected to miss four weeks.
The relatively short recovery time is good news for the the Saints. Breaks like this can often take much longer to heal.
Fantasy Impact
The Saints have enough good receivers that there likely won't be an unheard of backup moving into his place. If you own one of the Saints other receivers, like Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem or Courtney Roby, consider moving them into a starting role, as the value of each should increase.
Colston's injury will also press Lance Moore, who missed the season opener with a groin injury, back into action more quickly.
What They're Saying
There has been very little panic about this injury so far. The Saints are so deep on offense that most don't expect their production to suffer. If nothing else, this gives the Saints a chance to get receivers like Courtney Roby, who wouldn't have played much otherwise, into the lineup.
