Friday Night Smackdown Preview: Five Things to Look Forward to
WWE Smackdown comes to you on Syfy tonight!
Last week's Super Smackdown was great, and we can only assume that the follow up will be fun to watch.
While last week was so exciting because it included Raw superstars as well as Smackdown superstars, that does not mean the Smackdown superstars cannot put on a great show by themselves.
Randy Orton, Christian, Mark Henry, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, etc. Sounds like a good show to me!
Let's take a look at five things we can look forward to for Smackdown this week!
Five: Booker T
1 of 5Booker T alone is a good enough reason to watch WWE Smackdown every week. It just gets funnier and funnier and it never gets old.
Every week, Booker T fills the audience with meaningless information, hilarious sound effects, and extremely poor grammar. Even though he is silly, his experience in the ring is the reason why we all respect Booker so much.
Be excited WWE fans, you get to hear more Booker T tonight.
Four: What Next for Christian and Sheamus?
2 of 5Christian has to be done with getting title opportunities. He and Randy Orton have fought each other about a billion times, at least if feels that way. With Orton now feuding with Mark Henry, it should be interesting to see where WWE goes with Christian now.
Sheamus has been feuding with Mark Henry, who is now feuding with Randy Orton. WWE has not used Sheamus in the title picture in a while, but it could come shortly.
One would think a Christian vs Sheamus feud has to be in the mix.
Three: Zack Ryder
3 of 5Zack Ryder has been announced as the assistant Smackdown general manager to Teddy Long. It is about time WWE figured out how to include the Long Island Iced Z in story lines.
Zack Ryder is the funniest character WWE has had since the Attitude Era. In fact, watching him do his funny skits on the Internet or promos on TV is very reminiscent of the Attitude Era.
If you do not know about Zack Ryder, it is about time you learned. You will be able to watch him every Friday night now, and you will see the hilarity ensue.
Two: Mark Henry vs Ezekiel Jackson
4 of 5WWE has announced that Mark Henry will be taking on Ezekiel Jackson tonight on Smackdown!
This will be a ton of fun! Think about it—two monsters going head to head. It is like King Kong vs Godzilla. The brute strength of Mark Henry vs the ridiculous physique of Ezekiel Jackson.
These might be the two strongest superstars in the WWE, and to see them go head to head should be a lot of fun.
This match turning into a big feud is unlikely, but it will be a ton of fun to watch. Especially if Jackson can get Henry in the torture rack.
One: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes
5 of 5WWE has also announced that there will be a champion vs champion match tonight on Smackdown!
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will take on Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes.
This will be a fantastic match. Orton and Rhodes have been working together for years. They have great chemistry, and both can wrestle with the best of them.
Rhodes says he is going to make the Intercontinental title relevant again, and so far he is doing a good job. Taking on the World Heavyweight champ in the main event proves it.
This will be the best match of the night and any wrestling fan should look forward to it.
