Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva Signs with Jaco Clothing Ahead of Strikeforce Grand Prix

Strikeforce Grand Prix semifinalist Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva (16-2 MMA, 3-1 Strikeforce) faces an unbeaten Daniel Cormier (8-0 MMA, 5-0 Strikeforce) this Saturday.

Jaco Clothing announced today via a press release that they are sponsoring Silva for the matchup.

Strikeforce Grand Prix: Barnett vs. Kharitonov takes place at U.S. Bank in Cincinnati, OH and airs live on Showtime.

Silva is a minus-190 favorite after three-consecutive victories, two of which came by knockout.

In his most recent outing, the massive Brazilian defeated Fedor Emelianenko by second-round knockout (Doctor Stoppage).

Prior to manhandling Emelianenko this past February, Silva dispatched former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and veteran Mike Kyle.

Needless to say, Silva's a welcome addition to the Jaco roster.

"We are excited to see Bigfoot Silva compete this Saturday and that he will be representing the Jaco brand as one of the best heavyweight athletes in the sport," said Ron Wilson, president of Jaco Clothing.

In preparation for Saturday night's event, Silva spent the majority of his camp training at Imperial Athletics alongside fellow Jaco-sponsored athletes Rashad Evans, Anthony Johnson and Jorge Santiago (to merely name a few).

Jaco was recently announced as a finalist in the category of "Best Technical Clothing" for the 2011 World MMA Awards.
