Hidden Gem in Boxing's Bantamweight Division
In a Bantamweight Division that is both hot and cold, lies a hidden gem that is ready to sweep the Division. Like a samurai warrior, he is lurking in the shadows of so called emperors Darchynians and Penalosas perfecting his skills and sharpening his swords. His swords were sharp enough a year ago where if given a chance at that time would dethrone either champion. but he is humble in victory and i have not seen him in defeat, he will wait patiently in the shadows, with the quiet confidence of knowing he's the best.
As of now Sasha Bakhtine brutalizes opposition, with superb boxing skills and sharp crisp punches. He has mastered all the right skills that required in boxing, he never moves straight back after a combination, but rather slightly pivots to the right or to the left, a perfect balance, and angular position to the opponent that reminds you a little bit of Sugar Ray Robinson. But his greatest weapon is his jab; he has 4 or 5 variations of it. That makes it impossible for opponents to time. He jabs with a step, and then he jabs with a leaning torso keeping his feet in place, constantly jabbing and keeping the aggressors at bay. It’s actually the aggressors and the EMO's that receives the most punishment. Like Mayweather, Calzaghe, Hopkins - Sasha is unwilling under any circumstances to fight someone else’s fight, and keeps his foes at bay. Amazingly Sasha is very patient, on many occasions he could of gotten his foes hurt and unwilling to fight, yet he doesn’t step on the gas peddle and continues to dismantle them one round at a time, that’s why many of his foes quit on the stool unable to take anymore punishment.
Are big fights going to swing his way, or is he going to be another beautiful Pearl lying at the bottom of the ocean, in this case Japan. With Emperor Darchynian gunning for Arce and Penalosa fighting Abner Mares on De la hoya Pacquio undercard, it doesnt look like its going to happen any time soon Perhaps its going to be Hosigawa a Japanese champion that will give the quite samurai his first chance, or a Anselmo Moreno who also suddenly became a champion by taking the opportunity away from Wladimir Sidorenko
