Fantasy Football Week 1 Rankings: Quarterbacks That Will Plummet After Week 1
Be afraid, be very afraid. These following quarterbacks are ranked much too high for their own good in fantasy realms.
After Week 1, you will see why.
I am giddy with anticipation for the NFL season to start. We get an appetizer of sorts in the Packers vs. Saints contest. Then, we have to wait a couple of painstaking days to see the rest of the action.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Well, at least you are safe in your decisions in Game 1. Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers are certain as you can get in positive production. I don't care which defense they are facing.
On Sunday, things get a little funky. There are a few arms that I would steer clear of if you are toying with starting them. Their stock in fantasy leagues is about to plummet.
1. Tony Romo
I am staunch in my belief that the Cowboys could upset the New York Jets out of the gate, but it will be through a mucked-up game that demands both squads clawing for yards.
Romo will be facing a squad that still has a stout defense with tremendous depth in the secondary. It's nice to think kindly about Tony Romo's chances, just not when he is entering the confines of Pick City.
2. Michael Vick
Vick has been listed in the top three of most drafts for the last few weeks. He will no doubt be in the upper echelon, but his game will take a hit against the Rams.
This is one top-five quarterback that will face a defense perfectly matched for his guile. The Rams are quick around the sides on the line. Robert Quinn and Chris Long will force Vick into some precarious situations.
Vick will command a good game, just one that is more human than his normal fare.
This is a no-brainer that I just had to mention. I continue to see Manning drafted well above arms like Josh Freeman, Joe Flacco and Sam Bradford.
In a normal year, it would be laughable to sub any one of those for Manning.
This is no normal year. The Colts are being too coy for my liking. It is not a good sign when doctor's demand a player not practice days before the opener.
It will take Manning at least a couple of weeks before he is in game shape. This is a long-term issue you should stay clear of. He will drop in stock for every week he misses.
The plummet starts this weekend.
