Fantasy Football Week 1: 4 Fringe Players Worth Starting
Drafting a solid fantasy team is always key, but it is even more important to know which players that aren't as highly coveted are ready for a big day.
After all, there is nothing more frustrating than having a player on your bench that explodes for a huge day.
Here are four players that aren't worth starting every week but will get you huge points in Week 1.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
Ryan Grant is completely healthy and ready to roll. While the Packers love to pass the ball, and rightfully so, Grant should get plenty of touches in this one.
The Packers are primed and ready to go in this contest. They are playing in front of a home crowd that will be ready to fire up their team as they shower them with love from their Super Bowl championship.
The Packers are going to roll in this game, and that is going to mean lots of second-half touches for Grant against a suspect rush defense for the Saints.
Colt McCoy, Cleveland Browns
Colt McCoy had a very solid preseason. While I certainly don't think he he is ready to be an every-week fantasy starter, he is certainly good enough to start against the Bengals.
The Bengals are an absolute mess right now. They are going to have a hard time stopping anyone, and Colt McCoy is ready to start his 2011 season with a bang.
Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos
The best decision the Broncos made all preseason was to not trade Kyle Orton. He was fantastic in the preseason and he has plenty of options to throw to.
He should also find plenty of open receivers. The Raiders defense was horrid in the preseason and their secondary is a mess as they try to regroup from the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha.
Orton is going to put up plenty of yards and probably a couple of TDs.
Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers
Ryan Mathews had a rough rookie campaign. Fumbles were at the root of his problems. He did show some promise as a runner, though.
The Chargers will be anxious to get this first-round draft pick on track early, and he will have plenty of running lanes against a Vikings defense that is transitioning.
