Entourage and Their Athlete Counterparts

With Entourage's series coming to a close on Sept. 11, many will be tuning in to see how things wrap with Vincent Chase and his entourage.

Over the years, Entourage has become a huge part of our pop culture. Even if the show has hit some low points over the years, fans have felt the growth with the characters.

Entourage embraces the high life, so who better to compare our favorite Hollywood stars then our favorite athletes.

If the Entourage cast were our favorite athletes, these are who our favorite athletes would play.

Pablo Sandoval as Turtle

They call him the Kung Fu Panda, and many of you may be asking how does Pablo Sandoval relate to Turtle.

Well, for those of you who pay attention to the series would be aware that the Turtle character lost a lot of weight between seasons six and seven.

Pablo Sandoval received a whole bunch of commentary after his offseason when he returned back to the Giants weighing 38 pounds less than the previous year.

That's a whole lot of weight between seasons, and even though Entourage's Jerry Ferrara lost a little more weight with 55 pounds, these two both showed dedication during their respective offseasons.

Turtle and the Panda keeping doing bigger things every season.

Eli Manning as Johnny "Drama" Chase

Oh, poor Eli Manning. Even though he is the younger brother, as Drama is Vince's older brother, Eli has been caught in the shadows of his MVP brother Peyton Manning.

The funny thing is, Eli and Peyton have both captured only one Super Bowl ring, but Peyton will always trump Eli. Just like how Vince will always have Drama's number.

Just like Drama, Eli has seen spurts of success, stepping beyond his brothers limelight. In the end though, things just never seem to work out as good as they did for bro.

When Vince wasn't doing well, neither was Drama. We will have to see if the same holds for Eli in this questionable season for his brother.

Derrick Rose as E

They may be quieter and smaller then everyone else, but everyone knows Eric and Derrick Rose are in charge.

On Entourage, E makes all the decisions for the group. With his small stature and his often subtle behavior, at first glance one would not think E was in charge, but he is.

Same goes for Derrick Rose. Rose is a superstar and MVP, but on and off the court he is quiet. He does all the right things, and his teammates respect him, but he does not make an emotional scene like many superstars do.

At first glance, you would not know that Derrick Rose was the leader of this team. Once you were able to get to know the Bulls more, it became more evident that Rose was calling all the shots.

Alex Rodriguez as Vince Chase

The women, money and spotlight say it all with this comparison. A-Rod and Vince fit like a glove.

A-Rod has been the center of the MLB for years, and he has also been a hot topic in the public eye. Often known for having many different lady friends, A-Rod always has the paparazzi after him. He is almost like a Hollywood star.

Vince Chase has been a tabloid star throughout the series, mostly with his controversies being highly followed. He also has had his fair share of women, as we have seen as one of the main topics within this season.

There are many athletes who we can compare to Vince, but none suit him better then the $275 million man, Alex Rodriguez.
