Fantasy Football Week 1 Rankings: Top 10 Players Available on the Waiver Wire

Every year there are a handful of players that don't get drafted that end up being fantasy studs.  

Last year Arian Foster went undrafted in a lot of leagues, and he ended up being the top running back in all of fantasy football.  Two years ago it was Miles Austin.

Here is a list of guys that are still available on the waiver wire in Week 1.

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson

Nelson will go undrafted in a lot of leagues, and that is a mistake.  He will be the No. 2 receiver for the Packers before the season is over.

Detroit Lions RB Jerome Harrison

Harrison is backing up Jahvid Best, but Best is injury prone.

Arizona Cardinals D/ST

The Cardinals face the Panthers and rookie quarterback Cam Newton in Week 1.  They probably weren't drafted in your league and should put up big points this week.

Tennessee Titans QB Matt Hasselbeck

Matt Hasselbeck will have his full complement of weapons available to him in Week 1, and he is facing a Jaguars defense that isn't very good against the pass.

Indianapolis Colts QB Kerry Collins

Collins is not going to be a good option for you as a quarterback this season, but he could put up good numbers against a Texans defense that was horrific against the pass last year.

Washington Redskins RB Roy Helu

Rookies can make the quickest impact at running back, and Helu only has Ryan Torrain in front of him in Washington.

Arizona Cardinals WR Andre Roberts

Robert will have the advantage of lining up opposite Larry Fitzgerald all year long in a pass heavy offense.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller

Spiller has deadly speed and a lot more upside than Fred Jackson.

Denver Broncos QB Kyle Orton

You are in trouble if Orton is your only quarterback, but he could help you win the week when your starter is on his bye.
