WWE Raw Preview: 5 Things to Look out for in Tonight's SuperShow

Daniel MasseySep 5, 2011

Hello folks!

Welcome to a little Raw preview I have devised to whet your appetites for tonight’s action!

Emanating from Columbus, Ohio, WWE Raw is set to once again blow everyone’s minds with some immense programming.

With the Supershow looking to become a regular feature every Monday, it will be interesting to see what they will do with it and how they will utilise all the superstars at their disposal.

I have listed the five things you should be looking out for in tonight’s show.

So, without further ado, sit back, relax and enjoy the read!

Ring Rust

1 of 6

Triple H will be performing in the ring for the first time since WrestleMania XXVII tonight.

Will he have ring rust?

Only time will tell.

I would suspect that a man of his calibre and status in the professional wrestling business will not allow himself to botch or look dodgy in the ring.

Though the Cerebral Assassin will no doubt put on a cracking show, I will most definitely be looking for any signs of ring rust that he may need to improve upon before Night of Champions.

Kevin Nash

2 of 6

Kevin Nash is just bound to make an appearance after last week’s shenanigans.

He is now out of Night of Champions, having been replaced by his former best friend Triple H.

He will surely have something to say about this, and with his current contractual status in the WWE, I believe we are pretty much guaranteed an appearance by Big Sexy.

Pipe Bomb

3 of 6

Look in my eyes, what do you see? I see a pipe bomb-a-comin’, that’s a guarantee!

Enough of the song parodies.

Punk has been really pushing the buttons of not only Nash, but Triple H and even Vince McMahon in the past three months, by mentioning things that shouldn’t be mentioned on live television.

This has led to many dubbing what seems to be a new era: the “Reality Era”—much to the chagrin of others in the IWC, who would argue that we are not in a new era. But I digress...

Punk will definitely reference inside information about the wrestling business this week or simply wind Triple H up even more about his wife, causing the Raw GM to put a no-contact contract on the two superstars.

SmackDown Superstars!

4 of 6

It’s the second Raw Supershow in a row! So expect SmackDown Superstars.

I think the Supershow is a good idea, as it allows these superstars to perform live as opposed to working in a taped environment.

It is more pressure and may make more of them bring their A-game.

I hope to see the Sin Cara storyline addressed, and I can’t wait to see Sheamus fella!

SuperCena

5 of 6

A Raw show would not be complete without Cena kicking ass! WWE might be allowed to say ass now, but I don’t think I am, hence the stars.

Anyway, Cena will most likely finish the show on top yet again, standing tall over someone from SmackDown or Raw—it doesn’t really matter.

Even if it was Orton, he’d still win cleanly.

I sound like I’m moaning, but it pulls in ratings, so who am I to argue?
