Top 10 Plays of the 2011 NFL Preseason

This preseason offered several great videos to choose from and featured plays from many different players as they battled through the summer heat to secure a role for their team's upcoming season.

Some names are the same, some are new.  Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens when the regular season gets underway.

Here is a look back at the top 10 plays of the 2011 NFL preseason.

Calvin Johnson Turnaround Touchdown

This is a prime example of why things will be exciting in Detroit in 2011!

Riley Cooper Leaping Grab

Here is Michael Vick rolling out to connect on a 42-yard pass to Riley Cooper.

This is why defenses need to contain Vick.  Cooper makes a tremendous leaping grab.

Chad Cunningham Blocked Punt

Gotta show some love for the punters.

Cunningham's punt is blocked and the kicker turns running back and owns the Bears defense as he races for a first down.

Brian Walters 103-Yard Return

Just when you thought the new kickoff rule was going to change everything—Brian Walters of the San Diego Chargers takes one 103 yards to the house!

Larry Fitzgerald's Other One-Handed Catch

This is what makes Larry Fitzgerald a beast.

Here, Fitzgerald hauls in a deep bomb with one hand. I hear they edited out the part where he changed in the phone booth and donned his cape.

Danny Woodhead Gets Owned

This is a horrific hit on Woodhead.

He still feels it to this day.  As they say in hockey, keep your head up.

I do not condone illegal hits, but this had to hurt!

Denver Broncos' Raheem Moore lays a monster hit on Buffalo Bills receiver Donald Jones.

Donald Jones' concussion was not available for comment.

Hightower 58-Yard Run for TD

A preview of things to come in Washington?

It remains to be seen.

However, according to Tim Hightower, he's only getting started.

Andre Roberts Reverse

Andre Roberts runs a 34-yard reverse for a score.

Arizona looks to improve their offense, and Roberts should be a factor in that plan.

Downtown Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown goes 77 yards after catching a pass and splitting two defenders.

I'm sure there are plenty of plays that could have made this list, but these are some that really stuck out in my mind.

If this is a preview, I can only imagine what the season holds for us!
