Gina Carano Wins Dana White's Heart!

You cannot imagine the excitement at the Willis household!

Gina Carano will fight on WEC with Dana White's blessing!

From Dana White's mouth, as reported from the Toronto Press tour, "Gina is a star. I think she's talented. I think she's got all the tools; so what I'm willing to do is bring Gina into the WEC. We could do fights whenever there's a challenger for Gina. That's how we will test the waters and see how it goes."

Yeehaw! God bless you, Dana White!

Dana's stock has sure skyrocketed with Grandma Dee, and I want the world to know it; I can really appreciate his genius now!

This whole Press Tour with Dana, Georges, BJ, and the best MMA manager ever, Shari Spencer, has me on the edge of my chair with rapt anticipation.

No disappointment so far, and I am (choke!) beginning to see BJ Penn in a whole new light as well. But please guys, not crow for dinner again!

At my age, one seldom receives so much good news all at once, unless of course one wins the Lottery!

What a great feeling!

Lottery-wise, this is a win for Gina, Dana, women's MMA, and the fans.

Just how much money is involved is hard to tell, at this point.

Gina fighting on WEC will be colossal. I can't wait until her first fight.

Gina's opponent was not announced, but I am hoping it will be Christian "Cyborg" Santos! The sooner that happens, the better for me.

All the attention garnered by Gina's fights on EXC must have somehow shown Dana how much potential women's MMA has and how easily it could become mainstream. The amount of interest became evident on CBS.

Everyone has to admit that Dana may be accused of many things. However, no one can accuse him of being stupid when it comes to promoting anything related to MMA, especially when moneymaking is involved in the process.

Since I have become an advocate for women in sports, and particularly in MMA, I have been praying and dreaming that this would happen. I am ecstatic with the news; what more can I say, except "Thank you Mr. White; I think I love you!"

Good luck Gina—you go girl!
