Mirko Vucinic Will Lead Juventus to the Scudetto in the 2011/2012 Season

There is no doubt that the Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic can score goals. He has already proved to be deadly in front of goal—scoring 46 goals over a five-year period during his time at Roma and currently averaging just over a goal every two games for Montenegro.

Comments recently made by his agent just today would suggest that perhaps Vucinic will have what it takes to lead Juventus to a Scudetto.

According to Goal.com, the striker's agent Alessandro Lucci believes that his player's move to Turin will benefit both parties and stated how he believes Vucinic is underestimated because of his lack of presence in the media.

“He is underestimated by the football world because he doesn’t sell himself in the media. Nowadays, that aspect is crucial for your career," Lucci said. "However, Vucinic can play in many different roles and I am convinced he can make the definitive step up in quality at Juventus, because they have a winning mentality and the hunger to become competitive again."

Vucinic joined Juventus from Roma on a fee of €15 million and has already scored goals for Juventus in preseason friendlies and the annual TIM Cup, where they narrowly finished second to AC Milan.

Vucinic's agent concluded by dismissing the reports that AC Milan and Inter were stronger than Juventus, and therefore would win the Serie A, saying “I feel that Juventus can win the Scudetto. Even if AC Milan are favourites in terms of quality, the Bianconeri can get a strong start with enthusiasm and Antonio Conte at the helm. On the other hand, I think Inter are in decline and at the end of an era.”

Juventus will finally christen their new stadium against Parma this weekend, a match that will also prove to be the first round of matches for the Serie A, after the player's striker resulted in its postponement.
