Serena Williams Video: Watch Tennis Star Finish Rally with an Exclamation Point
There isn’t a single more heroic woman in the tennis world than Serena Williams.
She never ceases to amaze me. Like fine wine, she just gets better with age. Serena has seen and done it all in her sport—or so we thought.
Look at the way she chases down this ball like a true lioness attacking its prey. She finishes off the rally with an exclamation point—a perfect-10 split.
I didn’t know Serena practiced ballet in her spare time. This split was perfection personified and amplified by her winning the point.
It’s scary that Serena is still regaining strength and speed on the hallowed court after missing nearly a year of action due to injury and illness.
I thought she would win at Wimbledon, but her body was not prepared for the triumph. She’s clearly ready now.
I’m fully confident she will win the US Open tournament to complete her heroic comeback to tennis.
This victory would be the sweetest of her career after overcoming her adversities. She has a greater appreciation for life and sport, which will pump adrenaline through her veins and fuel her to victory each match. Even better, she would win on American.
She isn’t just determined to win for herself. She is also fighting to win gold for her sister, Venus.
Venus was forced to withdraw from the tournament after being diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome.
Given her extreme determination and motivation to win for the Williams family, expect to see more jaw-dropping plays from this freakish athlete. This is just the tip of the iceberg for Serena as she’ll pull out every trick in the book to guarantee victory.
It’s difficult to see anybody defeating her in this tournament. Not a single woman poses a bigger threat throughout than Serena.
Am I supposed to believe Carolina Wozniacki, Vera Zvonareva or Flavia Pennetta stand a chance against the almighty Serena? Poppycock and blasphemy!
Serena’s defeat at the US Open this year shouldn’t even be thought, let alone whispered. This tournament is hers for the taking, and she will not disappoint.
At this point, nothing will shock me after seeing her complete a full split more graceful than a veteran ballerina. Don’t be shocked if we see a 360-degree pirouette next time.
