MVP: We Need A Win!
Note: I really want every wrestling fan to grasp on to this article as you read it.
Back in late 2006, a new superstar by the name of Montel Vontavious Porter came on the WWE landscape. I was excited to see a wrestler like him.
As he progressed, he worked his way up, beating Kane in a Steel Cage match, drawing blood from Undertaker, defeating Chris Benoit in two straight falls to become United States Champion, defeating Flair to retain his U.S. Title and then made history by becoming the third longest reigning United States Champion with a reign of 343 days.

Fast forward to 2008, he competed in the Elimination Chamber, made his second WrestleMania appearance in the Money in the Bank ladder match.Ladder match. Ladder. You see a ladder has a very significant meaning in this business because you have to work your way up the ladder. MVP is working his way up the ladder but as of now his leg is caught in one of the rungs.
The only way to get out of that rung is to get a win. Ain't no shame in my game when I tell you that even through this rough patch, I am still a huge MVP fan and I'm not gonna just leave my favorite wrestler standing in the dust like some other fans might because I'm loyal. Loyal like a golden retriever (laugh).
I just want you to put yourself in my and other MVP fans shoes and imagine how we feel when we see our guy lose. It pisses us off, but we tune in every Friday to see the Ballin Superstar.
I didn't really take notice to the losing streak until 24wrestling.com posted his losing streak and had the audacity to call it the "MVP Lose-A-Meter"
So the bottom line is that MVP has until Survivor Series to win a match and get his bonus or he'll have to pay back the money from his contract and he'll be issued a standard contract. There is nothing standard about MVP, so he needs this win.
In conclusion, MVP you need a win, your fans need a win. GO OUT THERE AND WIN!
Godspeed!
