WWE: Triple H Returns on RAW for a Match Against Who?

Justin WatryAug 31, 2011

I really hope this is just a dark match for the love crowd only. Sadly, it looks like Triple H is actually going to be wrestling on Monday Night RAW this week. I am not in favor of this move, but based on how it goes, I could be after Monday.

Right now, I am going to pick a few opponents that may or may not be ideal for The Game's big RAW return match. With that being said, let's jump into it...

Zack Ryder

1 of 5

Why not? He is a jobber that everyone would be talking about the next day. As talented as he is, Ryder just has nothing going for him right now.

As the video above shows, everyone seems to be beating him up for no reason, so why not Triple H this Monday? He already hit him with a Pedigree off-camera a few weeks ago.

This time—do it on RAW. Make it last a few minutes to avoid any injuries, and end it.

Woo, Woo, Woo, You Know It!

Christian

2 of 5

This is my personal pick.

Christian can come out, whine and cry for a few minutes about losing he world title. Triple H's music hits, informs him he has a match...NOW!

Pedigree. One. Two. Three. The fans would love it, and it does no harm to Christian because he can't buy a win right now.

Good face/heel dynamic and a safe worker in Christian to protect Triple H.

Mark Henry: Please No!

3 of 5

The last thing I want to do see right now is a Mark Henry loss.

Make no mistake about it: Triple H is winning on RAW next week. No doubt about it.

Thus, you have to choose the right opponent to eat a pinfall. Mark Henry is on too much of a roll to lose right now, in a quick Triple H match.

Sorry, I am just cringing at the thought of Henry losing on RAW...please no!!!

R-Truth/Miz

I put these two together because both have been on Triple H's case about some CON-spiracy.

With that, it could easily be a tag-team match. The Awesome Truth vs. Triple H and a partner of his choosing. Nobody ever said it would be a one-on-one contest.

Again, this would protect Triple H (must!), and it would be big main event for all parties involved on a holiday edition of RAW, which is likely to take yet another ratings hit.

Johnny Ace

5 of 5

Last but not least, why not make Triple H's return match a true "squash?" The reaction on John's face would be priceless when he finds out he has a match against The Game!

Again, it would be a quick bout that ends with a Pedigree. Anybody expecting Triple H to put on a 20-minute classic next Monday is just missing the point here. Again—reality, no "fantasy booking."

Honestly, with all the options running through my head, I see either Christian or Johnny Ace taking a beating come Monday. I could also see his return match just being for the live audience (dark match), and the entire speculation being pointless.

Whatever they decide to do, we will all be watching Monday...
