Chelsea Transfer Rumours: Has a €22 Million Fee for Franck Ribery Been Agreed?
Bayern Munich's French superstar Franck Ribery is apparently on the verge of a transfer to Chelsea.
Rumours have been circulating since early this morning that the 28-year-old would potentially be moving to the London club, and Twitter has been abuzz with apparent sources from Germany who have stated that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
Carlo Ancelotti missed out on the winger in 2008 after being quoted for €88 million, but Andre Villas-Boas has seemingly reignited Chelsea's interest in the player after failing to prise Croatian midfielder Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur.

Ribery, who is the highest-paid footballer in Germany, reportedly earns £180,000 a week and still has four years of his contract left to run.
Although money doesn't seem to be the potential stumbling block for Abramovich's Blues, the question about how Bayern Munich will replace him before the transfer window slams shut will have to come into consideration.
If the player chooses to leave Germany, Bayern may not have enough time to buy an adequate replacement by the closure of the window and this could sway their decision to let him go or not.
But with the transfer deadline less than nine hours away, Chelsea need to move fast if they are to conclude one of the biggest signings of the summer.
