NBA's Perfect Pick-Ups- LayupDrill.com
The NBA's Perfect Pick-Ups is a list of players that are still in free-agency in a majority of fantasy leagues that should be picked up IMMEDIATELY! Add these players to your squad, and you got yourself a great chance at making the playoffs and maybe even winning your league.
* Beno Udrih (PG, SAC)- 64 percent OWNED
Udrih is coming together after a slow start to the NBA season. He has scored at least 16 points or more in each of his last four games along with three or more assists, and four or more re-bounds.
Suggestion: Udrih is the commanding starting point-guard for the lousy Sacramento Kings and looks as if he will contribute in loads throughout the season. Udrih is definitely a player to pick up if he is still available in your league.
* Wilson Chandler (SF/PF, NY)- 69 percent OWNED
Wilson was one of the few sleepers that has shined so far this season. He is averaging around 28 minutes per game and has put up some great numbers, averaging 13.8 points, 5.4 boards, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. His FT percentage is at an outstanding 81.3 percent in 10 games this season.
Suggestion: Chandler is a solid pick-up if he is still available in your league. With the rumors circulating about trading PF Zach Randolph and PF David Lee, Wilson has the potential to steal more minutes and of course, increase his fantasy value.
*Luis Scola (PF/C, HOU)- 62 percent OWNED
With Yao Ming on his side you would expect Scola's last years numbers to drop, but that is not the case this season. Scola is averaging 10.8 points per game along with 6.8 boards in only 25 minutes a game this season.
Suggestion: Scola is worth owning, at least as a bench player in any fantasy league. He has potential to put up double-doubles consistently if head coach Rick Adelman gives him more playing time. Scola can help your team with rebounding and has a great FT percentage so far this season.
*Anthony Morrow (SG, GS)- 30 percent OWNED
During Morrow's first appearance in the NBA, he dropped a ridiculous 37 points, shooting 15-20 from the field and 4-5 from the 3-point-line. He also added 11 re-bounds and shot 100 percent from the free-throw line. Morrow is now the starting shooting-guard for the Warriors and has extreme upside.
Suggestion: You may want to wait a few games before seeing if this dude is the real deal. He has great potential and could be a huge fantasy sleeper this season if he can consistently put up big numbers like he did in his opening game.
