Mike Singletary Operates Quick Turnaround
The San Francisco 49ers are in no way a playoff team this season, but Mike Singletary's squad leads fans to believe that there is hope for next year. Two well executed games in a row have made Singletary look to be the most successful 1-2 head coach in history.
The play of the Niners in the Monday night game against the Cardinals was smooth as a drum until the last half of the fourth quarter. Yesterday, the team exploded for 35 first half points, the most in 16 years.
Though the Seahawks game presented the worst loss of the season, the fans came out with a strong sense of who he is. He benched J.T. O'Turnover and later kicked Vernon Davis off the field.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Pants-a-palooza (a.k.a. his half time speech) was an unfortunate locker room revelation, but also shows that he has the fiery character needed in a head coach.
Three years of Mr. Empty Suit have left players and fans hungry for a head coach who can gain their respect through strong passion. Players have hit harder and run faster in the last two games; it is clear that Singletary has infused them with a great deal of heart.
Mike Nolan was not a coach whom players respected. As far as leadership qualities go, Singletary creates a stark contrast. Like the Bush administration, it will take a long time to reverse the damage caused by Nolan. Like Obama, Singletary is the "Change We Need" to begin to build our team back up.
Unfortunately, McCloughan and the Yorkies waited until now to make this change. With Shaun Hill and "Samurai Mike" leading our team at the beginning of the year it may have been a different story.
Now, the 49ers would have to win out to have a chance to make the playoffs, and that is not on the horizon. All the fans can do is appreciate the smash mouth style he has brought, and hope the team can build on their newfound success.
When he was the "Heart of the Defense" for the "Monsters of the Midway" in the '80s, Singletary strove to be one of the greatest Linebackers in history. With that accomplished, his new goal is to be "one of the greatest coaches of all time." 49ers fans are pulling for him.
