Notre Dame Hot Read: Week 1

Theo Riddick

The diminutive prep standout from New Jersey is on a fast track to super stardom with the Irish.  After moving to slot receiver for his sophomore year, Riddick quickly established his credentials as an explosive playmaker for Notre Dame.  Last year, in a campaign shortened by injuries, Riddick made 40 receptions for 414 yards and added three touchdowns.   More importantly, the Irish offense slowed when he was absent from the line-up as defenses could focus even more attention towards Michael Floyd.   With the 2011 campaign on the horizon, Riddick has the potential to make a major impact in both the passing and running game for Notre Dame.
