Sam Bradford might not have taken the girl up on her offer to marry him, but he didn't let her walk away empty-handed. His willingness to sign her "marry me" poster made the girl break down into tears like a four-year-old who lost her puppy or a homeless person won the lotto.

Tears of joy spilled down her cheeks in what was clearly the greatest moment of her life. It's just preseason—Bradford wasn't going to do anything during that game that would inevitably change his life, but he did his part to change that fan's life forever.

It's that sort of humbleness that makes Bradford one of the most likable guys in the entire league. He's a superstar in the making, but that's not what makes him special. He doesn't seem to think he's bigger than his fans, which is a rare quality amongst professional athletes of his stature.

This isn't the only act of humility Bradford has put on display. Last year, he inked a contract that sent $50 million guaranteed his way. His big purchase wasn't a Bentley, a yacht or a mansion.

It was a ping-pong table.

It's that sort of blue-collar mentality that has girls sporting the "marry me" posters and their fathers being okay with it. He's a good guy who happens to be blessed with a golden arm.

This may seem like a small act of kindness, and for Bradford, it was. A signature on the poster took no more than five seconds out of his day.

We constantly hear stories like Aaron Rodgers snubbing a cancer patient when he came off the plane. While Rodgers didn't mean to do so, it's clear that most superstars don't like taking time out of their busy schedule to interact with fans.
