WWE Rips Their Own Former Star, Says Brock Lesnar Fight Was Fixed!

Dorothy WillisNov 16, 2008

Hey WWE fans, listen up and please do look at the picture above. Big Brock Lesnar did not cut himself over his right eye. 45 year old Randy Couture did.

Whewee! The writers on Bleacher Report's sister (OK, brother site, if you will) are all going nuts since the Randy Couture vs Brock Lesner fight and one writer (I am not naming names, cause you know who you are), even claims (gasp!) that the fight was "predetermined" because ex-WWE champion Brock Lesner won!

Wow, am I ever enjoying this unexpected reaction to the way the fight ended with a blow from Brock's humongous right hubcap-sized fist!

Quick, someone tell Randy that he was just fakin' that loose tooth! I dare you!

What fun, a fan of a fake sport stating with great conviction that "it will soon be revealed that "all" the UFC fights have been fixed since its inception" (that means 'begining' for you WWE fans trying to follow along).

I hate to admit just how much I love this turn of events, and wonder what the WWE fighters in attendance at the event or the one's who had to miss it because they were out of town on WWE related business and could not attend, think of the outcome.

Why am I cheering? Good heavens, this must be Armageddon!

So the fans I thought would be enjoying this win the most are questioning it, leaving me, of all people to champion Brock Lesner and say the big guy won it on his own merit.

Ah, darn, foiled again! Why me, lord, why me?

Brock was unnerved before this fight and was alone 'gutting up for the fight' in his empty locker room before his long trek to the octagon, scowling and pacing.

Randy was calm and congenial with his wife and entourage relaxing with him before the fight.

At the end of the first round the gigantic Lesner looked gassed and perhaps was having his own moment of self doubts.

When Randy cut him above the eye he appeared to wipe the blood spurt away in disbelief that his defeat could come, after all, in the  much smaller package: 220# Randy Couture.

After he connected with the left side of Randy's head he took no chances and followed up by pouncing as quickly as a 280 pound man can pounce, on the faltering champ and began raining down punches.

And finally, mercifully after a hesitation that may have cost Randy a loose tooth or two, Mario Yamasaki stopped the bout. Thank God!

In victory, Brock was most generous in his praise for Couture, the man he had just beaten senseless.

Most of Randy's fans have seen his movies on the big screen and realize that he is not  an award winning actor and could not "fake-act" his way out of a broom closet, let alone fake a loss like he had just incurred.

I suggest the WWE fans rent one of his Scorpion King movies to verify his acting ability.

Much like the many movies "the King" Elvis Presley, (who was a practitioner of Karate), cranked out, he never won any awards (only his debut Flaming Star received any recognition), and I doubt that, as much as he is loved and admired, Randy Couture will become an acclaimed actor for his portrayal of the Scorpion King.

Since WWE fans don't usually get treated to 'quality' acting, though, their standards may differ from the MMA fans who are based on reality and not acting.

Who knows?

The whole point of this is that I must admit that Brock Lesner is straight up, the new UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Without a doubt in my mind I can say that, like Frank Sinatra used to sing, Brock did it his way and all on his own.

Thank you! Thank you vury much!
