Tampa Bay Buccaneers Boot Youboty and Others Who Weren't Going to Make It
If you thought cornerback Ashton Youboty was the next big thing to help the Tampa Bay Buccaneer secondary, well nice try.
Cornerback Youboty got the boot Monday, along with nine others who weren't going to help this football team. Fellow corner Vince Anderson joined him.
It was time to get rid of some of the "camp fodder," as the NFL required teams to get down to 80 players going into this final week of the preseason.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Bucs said farewell to Jock Sanders, the tiny lad from West Virginia who is even smaller than he looks. He looked really tiny on college football fields, so you can imagine him in the land of NFL giants. With the new kickoff rules, it really diminishes opportunities for return guys and that's where Sanders has to make it.
Don't be surprised if he ends up in Canada next year.
Wide receiver is an over-crowded situation, thus it was adios to Detron Lewis and Aundra Allison.
Too many defensive ends to keep Brandon Gilbeaux, he's gone. Same thing with tight ends. Collin Franklin is out the door.
Punter Robert Malone was gone the day they picked up Michael Keonen. It was official Monday.
Offensive lineman Brandon Carter was waived injured. And finally, this is a tough one as he's a favorite, a guy we were pulling for. The "Beast," Rendrick Taylor, simply wasn't beastly enough to make this roster and he's been given his ticket out.
The really, really tough cuts will come early next week. We'll have a preview before then to guess who stays and who goes.
