WWE: John Morrison Is a Seven Year Veteran, Not a Rising Star
Many people among the IWC are super-marks for one John Morrison.
Yes, the man is talented and has had a good run with the WWE.
They call him Jo-Mo, "The Shaman" or "Prince of Parkour." Whatever you call him, one thing is for sure—he is not a rising star.

Morrison arrived on the WWE scene in 2004, officially landing TV time on WWE's flag-ship show RAW.
However, time and time again I see articles here and elsewhere touting Morrison as a "rising star" or "the next big thing." All of these accolades are nice—however, they are not accurate, as he has been on WWE TV for seven years now.
Sadly, most of that time has been spent seeing Morrison injured or jobbing to the next in line.
Don't get me wrong—he has a pretty impressive stack of mid-card title and tag-title reigns. However, it's the big prize that continues to loom over his head. Keep in mind, his arrival came only two years after current champ Randy Orton and multi-time champ John Cena.
There have also been several people since Morrison's arrival with less of a tenure landing the title, one being his old tag partner The Miz.
Let's face it—Morrison is not getting any younger, and at 31 he should have at least had a one-on-one main-event match at a pay-per-view. However, for some unknown reason, the WWE continues to give him a push and almost immediately take it away.
Chances are that some of his issues were partially due to his girlfriend Melina's backstage drama.
However, one has to believe that his lack of mic skills have really hurt him. Unfortunately, I see Morrison being future-endeavored before he is ever the champ of either brand.
So please take heed when talking about John Morrison and realize this man has been around for almost 10 years and is not some blue-chipper that's going to take the WWE by storm.
