Who's Hot? and Whos Not! Week 4

Brandon RibakNov 16, 2008

The list of players below are a few of the best players playing in the fantasy NBA league coming into Week 4.

FIRE ALERT!!!

+ Joe Johnson (G, ATL)- Joe Johnson is playing absolutely sensational basketball averaging a career high in points and steals with 26 points per game, 1.89 steals, along with 48.6% FG percentage, and close to five boards and assists.

+ Jermaine O'Neal (C, TOR)- Week one O'Neal was placed under the Who's Not! section because of his erratic play. This week Jermaine recorded three back-to-back double doubles including an 18 rebounds game against the Heat. Looks like the old Jermaine is back!

+ Vince Carter (SG, NJ)- Carter is playing some serious basketball this season averaging a career high in assists with 5.3 per game. Vince is playing a lot of minutes this season and it is clearly showing in his points per game. He hasn't scored under 22 points in the past 5 games.

+ T.J Ford (PG, IND)- People always said, a healthy T.J Ford could put up monstrous numbers; and so far, that is exactly what he's doing this season. Ford is putting up career numbers in points with 16.44 per game, and boards with 5.11 per game. To add, he is dishing out 6.22 assists per game with 90.6 FT%.

The list below are the players that aren't living up to their potential as of right now.

ICE COLD ALERT!!!

- Tyson Chandler (C, NO)- Chandler hasn't started off on a great foot this season. He had a minor sprained ankle injury and hasn't done much since then. He is averaging only 8.86 points per game with 8.71 boards and close to two blocks. He isn't considered a reliable number one Center as of right now.

- Emeka Okafor (C, CHA)- Emeka has his weeks when he plays like a little school girl, I guess you can say he is inconsistent for games at a time. His past two games he has scored a combined nine points and 14 rebounds. Emeka is slumping right now, but once he gets out of it, he can return into a daily double double kind of guy.

- LaMarcus Aldridge (PF, POR)- Since the return of Greg Oden, Aldridge's numbers have seen a decrease. He will have to learn to play with the big man by his side and still find a way to produce.
