Denver Broncos: Why Must There Be This Divison over Tim Tebow?
Ladies and gentlemen, this absolutely continues to baffle me, no matter how many times I see it in the national news, on SportsCenter, or on Bleacher Report.
There is this violent, passionate and completely unnecessary divide that exists between rooting for the Denver Broncos and rooting for Tim Tebow.
I know it has been said several times before, but the insanity of the situation bears it being stated again, expressing concerns with Tim Tebow is not the same as being a "Tebow-hater."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The biggest question that I have in this is: when did being a Denver Bronco fan become similar to being a republican and democrat in Washington, where you are either for the good of the country or advocating its downfall?
I can settle this right now for every single one of us—there is not a Bronco fan alive right now who doesn't want Tim Tebow to be completely and totally successful while he wears the orange and blue. Every single last one of us wants the Broncos to win, and if Tim Tebow is the guy who is going to bring the Broncos back to the promised land, then we'll march behind him.
There's just one problem: the coaching staff has not said that he is the guy yet.
Several NFL experts have expressed legitimate concerns about Tim Tebow's game, and that obviously includes the coaching staff of the Denver Broncos or else he would be starting.
It is legitimate to worry about the fact that he is slower out from under center than the rest of the quarterbacks because of the fact that he never took snaps from under center in college, not hating on him.
It is a legitimate concern to state that though Tebow has worked hard to improve his delivery, and while he has made some progress on his throwing motion, it is still one of the longer throwing motions in the game.
It is a legitimate concern that his footwork needs improvement and that his accuracy is not where it should be if he wants to be an NFL starter.
It is a legitimate concern to state that his decision making needs to change from how he just would tuck and run when he was in college because it will affect his NFL longevity. You can't just tuck and run after looking at only one read in the NFL, and that is something that even renowned runner Michael Vick has learned.
All of these things do not mean that we wish ill upon Tim Tebow, nor does it mean that we all are damning the Denver Broncos to mediocrity or worse until we wake up from our blindness and do what we were all far too foolish to do from the beginning—give the starting job, our children and the keys to the United States of America to Tim Tebow.
We simply mean that Tim Tebow has some work to do in his transition to the NFL game.
And you know who probably knows all of this better than any single one of us writers on here pretending that we have the greatest answers to all of our sports teams? Tim Tebow.
Tebow knows the differences between the college game and the NFL game. Tebow has been told by his coaches what he needs to work on and is working to do it.
Tebow knows that if he is to become the starter for the Broncos or any other team in the NFL for that matter, that he will have to improve his accuracy, footwork, delivery and decision making.
Tim Tebow knows that he has to be better, work harder and win it through his work, and that is his goal.
That's why he's so likable, I understand it. I love having this kid on the team because his work ethic is infectious. But it doesn't mean that he's the best player, yet.
So until that time when Tebow is able to prove that he's the best guy, and no he hasn't done it yet, can we all please calm down a little bit?
Can we all agree that we are Broncos fans and our feelings about one of the players on our 40-man roster does not mean, one way or the other, that anybody else is anything other than a fan of the Denver Broncos who wants to see this once-proud franchise return to the mountain top?
Tim Tebow is a lot of things, but the one thing he never has to be is divisive.
