WWE Smackdown Report, August 26th, 2011: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly
This Smackdown needed to create a buzz around the Blue Brand heading into next week's SuperSmackdown special. I think they did just that.
Del Rio vs. Cara on Tuesday should be fun to watch, whether good or bad. Even bigger than that is Randy Orton defending his World title against Christian inside a steel cage.
Let's jump into tonight's show!

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Good
Mark Henry is still the best thing going today. It is getting harder and harder for all of his detractors to make a good case. His promo in the beginning of the show was fitting, and his match with Sheamus was well done.
It kept both men strong, while making Henry look even more dominant going into his (likely) World title match next month on PPV.
Side note: Bret Hart did a great job tonight - he deserves an honorable mention here.
The Bad
No Nattie (or Beth) in front of the live crowd, unless I missed it. This just makes me disappointed. I understand they were in Canada and likely did not want Nattie to be cheered, but it still makes me a little sad Kelly Kelly did not further her storyline with Beth/Nattie.
I won't rag on WWE too much here, but a match with Tamina for Kelly Kelly and a mini-promo from Nattie was nothing worth while. Nothing at all...
The Ugly
I hope everyone enjoyed Christian main eventing the past few months because it all comes to an end this Tuesday night on SuperSmackdown.
Either he is getting his head punted in by Orton or he is sliding back down the mid card (upper mid card maybe). He had a great run on top, and his matches with Orton were some of the best of the year.
However, all good things must come to an end, and for the "Christian Crew", it ends in 4 days...
