Eurobasket 2011: Complete Day-by-Day Tournament Schedule

The 2011 Eurobasket is set to begin August 31 and runs up until the final on on September 18.

This tournament marks the 37th time it has been held since the inaugural event in 1935. The event features 24 teams and serves as both the European Championships and an Olympic qualifying event.

This year's event will take place in Lithuania for the first time since 1939.

Spain is the defending champion and is hoping it can take the title home in consecutive tournaments.
