Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan's Man Crush of Bill Belichick Continues

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan did it again by showering New England's Bill Belichick with words of praise in a sit down interview on NFL.com with Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin.

"

The third-year coach stated:  "I want what Belichick's got"

It's safe to say that his man crush is alive and well heading into his third year in the AFC East Division.

"

As defined by the urbandictionary.com—a man crush is simply when a straight man, has a "crush" on another man, not sexual but kind of idolizing him.

"

Ryan has more than held his own in the sideline matchup by winning three of the five overall meetings since he arrived in the Big Apple—including a 28-21 road win at Gillette Stadium in the 2010 playoffs. 

The division will undoubtedly be determined between these two teams over the course of the 2011 campaign, and both coaches will have ample time to prepare for one another—when the Jets travel to Foxborough in Week 5.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has likely been thinking about the contest during the entire offseason and will be aiming for revenge. 

The Patriots have posted lopsided victories in the last two regular-season home meetings in the series—including a 45-3 laugher in front of a nationally-televised Monday Night Football audience on Dec. 6, 2010.

It's hard to imagine that a hug-fest will ensue at the 50-yard line after the first meeting, but Ryan may get a chance to display his feelings at New Meadowlands Stadium in Week 10.
