Fantasy Football Week 11 Rankings: Defense

We are more than halfway through the fantasy football season and with that brings the urgency to rack up wins even more. You are taking a great step at succeeding this week as you are reading the Bruno Boys Defensive Rankings.

Before we head into the article, I would like to explain the “Bruno Boys Star System”.

1. (Philadelphia Eagles) @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Eagles who rank ninth in the NFL in yardage allowed takes on the Bengals who rank dead last in yardage and only put up 13.9 PPG. This is also an excellent opportunity for turnovers which pushes the Eagles over-the-top and into the best play of the week for the Bruno Boys.

2. (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. Minnesota Vikings

With this ranking you would think that the Vikings offense has sucked it up so far this year. They haven't. But they do rely on the run to get a good portion of their yards and points which is not good news when you face a Buccaneers defense that is very stingy when it comes to the rush and is very tough to score upon on the ground. If the Lions could hold the Vikings to a low score, the Buccaneers definitely should be able to. The probability of multiple turnovers is also excellent.

3. (Miami Dolphins) vs. Oakland Raiders

The 18th ranked Miami Dolphins defense who have allowed 328 YPG this season take on a Raiders offense that has a harder time moving the ball than a constipated guy has moving his bowels. The Raiders only put up 12 PPG as well so you know that it should be nothing but sunshine for the Dolphins D.

4. (Carolina Panthers) vs. Detroit Lions

This weeks matchup against the Lions is another excellent play for the Panthers as the Lions are ranked 28th in yardage and are very unstable at the QB position. The chances for turnovers is not the greatest, in fact it is just average, but nonetheless the Lions struggles should more than make up for it making the Panthers an outstanding play for this week.

5. (Minnesota Vikings) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Vikings rank in the top-10 for yardage allowed this season while the Buccaneers also rank in the top-10 of yardage accumulated on offense. This is a perfect battle of good defense vs. good offense. The probability for multiple turnovers is very good this game making the Vikings and even better choice. More times than not the good defense will win the battle.

6.(Chicago Bears) @ Green Bay Packers

In what is to be a very important division rival game, a solid Bears defense is looking to shut down the Packers who have had their ups and downs offensively. The chance for multiple turnovers is very good in this game solidifying the Bears as a very good play this week. Just don't look for total domination.

7. (Tennessee Titans) @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The undefeated Titans look to stay that way this week, bringing their dominant defense and running game to Jacksonville in what should be a very good matchup. If there was a week in which the Titans will have their hands very full it will be this week. We are expecting a hard fought game; one that will make the Titans a very good play. The Titans also have a good shot at getting multiple turnovers this week.
