Koscheck is a former middleweight himselfโhe competed on The Ultimate Fighter at that levelโbut hasn't returned to that division since his time on the show.
That appearance was over six years ago.
Many discussions have been brought up by media and fans about Koscheck's return to the Octagon and a return to the division he once called home.
The discussions have been brought up with a possibly fight between Koscheck and Stephan Bonnarโif Bonnar was willing to drop from light heavyweight to middleweight.
Koscheck and Bonnar were involved in a Twitter battle of words. Koscheck threatened legal action against Bonnar for using his likeness on shirts for Bonnar's company "Trash Talkin' Kids."
Koscheck hasn't fought in the UFC since his loss to Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title at UFC 124 this past December. In that fight, Koscheck broke his orbital bone and has been spending his time recovering ever since.
