Brett Favre Impersonator: Was the Silver Fox at Green Bay Packers Practice?
Apparently Brett Favre is more than ready to patch things up with the Green Bay Packers.
In fact, the ole’ gunslinger is so anxious to get back in good with the Packers faithful that he took it upon himself to show up at practice to sign autographs for the fans. Favre was reportedly seen taking pictures with fans in the stands and even signing autographs at a local bar.
What a humble act!

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Truthfully, I didn’t see this moment coming for at least another 10 years, but it is refreshing to see Favre drop the diva act and return to his roots as the Packers’ golden boy.
Favre was even kind enough to wear his old Packers jersey, just in case anybody forgot who he was, I suppose.
Despite all the drama that he has stirred up in the past few years, perhaps Favre is indeed a man by the people, for the people! Favre is a Packer at heart, and he’s come back to prove his dedication to the fans who supported and adored him for all those years, right?
I hate to break it to you, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In fact, according to the Associated Press via ABC News, this wasn’t even the real Brett Favre:
"A man who looks a lot like Brett Favre has been impersonating the retired quarterback around Green Bay, wearing a No. 4 jersey and even signing autographs.
David Thomason, who is Favre's travel coordinator, tells the Green Bay Press-Gazette he was notified the man appeared at Packers practice Thursday and showed up at several sports bars in the area.
Thomason says it's definitely not his boss, who he says hasn't been in Green Bay since the Minnesota Vikings played at Lambeau Field last season.
The owner of Stadium View Bar & Grille in Ashwaubenon says the man came into his bar Thursday night and signed autographs for about 15 minutes. He says the man "keeps his head down so you can't get that good of a look at him."
"
To be honest, I’m a little bit disappointed in Packer fans that were duped by the Favre imposter.
He “kept his head down so you can’t get a good look at him”!?
That sounds nothing like the cell-phone-picture-taking, tractor-riding, Rachael Nichols-interviewing Brett Favre that I’ve known these past few years!
The man played in front of Packer nation for how long, and you couldn’t even recognize the fact that it wasn’t him?
While I do see the resemblance, he is obviously missing that twinkle in his eye, his love for the spotlight and Wrangler jeans.
Sorry, Packer fans, but it looks like the Favre saga won’t resolve itself just yet.
The truth of the matter is that Favre is probably nowhere near Green Bay at the moment, and I’m pretty sure that’s the way he likes it.
