WWE Rumor: Team Punk vs Team Triple H Coming Up Soon?

This is not so much of a surprise, but more of a "something to look forward to" situation.

While many are anticipating a great feud between Triple H and CM Punk, this article is going to dive into why the match is taking place.

1. The Survivor Series show is being held in Madison Square Garden. I have no doubt Triple H will want a major match for the show, but maybe not a single's match. His team can help with the heavy lifting, and a match against Punk will do just fine.

2. Kevin Nash is extremely limited. He can probably "go," but he certainly needs to have only a few short matches here and there. Hiding him in a big team in New York City could do that.

3. It opens up the door for Colt Cabana and/or Kings of Wrestling to be on Punk's team. I have touched on them many times before, but it certainly looks like Punk is bringing in some of his buddies to join him in WWE.

4. It prolongs the "Punk vs WWE" feud. This thing needs to drag out. I am sorry, but it really needs to be long. Killing this off next month with Nash is not what to do. Keep this going for months and months, maybe all the way to Wrestle Mania 28?

5. Last but not least, WWE needs this hot story to continue during Monday Night Football season. Yes, I have covered their ratings of late and they need something major nearly every single week, or they are in trouble. Big trouble.
