New York Giants or Tennessee Titans: Take Your Pick

So it comes down to this.

When the NY Football Giants take the stage this week at home and destroy the Ravens, they might actually be ranked No. 1, as they should be. Forget the Titans' record—no one said that the No. 1 power ranking was dependant on a teams record. That's what the standings are for.

The Giants are a three-headed monster that breathes fire through the air and smashes all opposition with its iron clad defense.

Let's get real.

The Titans have coasted along against pathetic opposition. It's my guess that not only do they lose this week against the Jags, they will drop at least four games this season.

The Steelers, the Colts, c'mon- both those teams will not only beat the Titans but embarrass them as well.

If the Titans win even one of those two games, I will give them props. 'Til then, I would think that if the Titans played the Giants today, the Giants would be favored by at least one touchdown.

Hopefully, the power rankings will be set straight this week when the Giants win and the Titans lose, putting them both at 9-1. Giants will take over the No. 1 spot, as the Titans slip down to their proper (but still respectable) place below the G-Men.

I wonder if they are even in the top five of the NFL. The Steelers, Pats, Eagles, Redskins, Colts, Panthers, and even the NY Jets are better teams than the immensely overrated TN Titan's

Trust me when I say that they will come up more than a yard short in this one.

Should the improbable occur and the Titans go undefeated at 18-0, It would be a Giants fan's dream come true as the Big Blue gets to defeat two undefeated teams in a row in the SB.

After that they will take their place among the greatest teams in NFL history. With the picks obtained by the Shockey trade, their youth, and the return of Osi next year, how scary will the Giants be? I smell dynasty in the air.
