NASCAR Racing Ends...But Women Can Still Represent in the Offseason!

As the NASCAR season ends across the US, a new apparel group Lap of Luxury Clothing is filling a much-needed niche and making sure women race fans have something stylish to wear at the track and in their everyday lives.

Co-founders and serious race fans Kristy Burns and Jessica Bitner weren’t able to find female focused race-gear to wear to the track and realized there was a significant hole in the market for a line that they and other female race fans would want to wear.

“We traveled to several races and hundreds of women of all ages told us that there isn’t enough apparel dedicated to the more than 40 million women race fans. We then decided to drive the market by launching a company that would provide a unique clothing line dedicated to the female fans,” said Jessica Bitner, co-founder of Lap of Luxury Clothing.

Lap of Luxury is an online shop for shirts, tank-tops and other accessories that cater to women who want edgy, young products geared towards the action-packed sport of NASCAR.

“Our clothes are designed for the women race fans that want something to wear to the track but also, fashionable enough to wear in everyday life,” said fellow co-founder Kristy Burns.

Burns put her background in fashion and design to use in choosing the best fabrics, overseeing the cuts and fit of the apparel, and in choosing designs that today’s female track fans want to wear. Every year more female fans get hooked on the high-speed, thrilling and intense sport of racing and Lap of Luxury Clothing provides apparel to make that experience even better.

Recently, the company took their designer fashions to the Coke 400, located in Daytona, Florida to showcase their products at the track for thousands of race fans.

“The reactions were astonishing, we had women of all ages expressing their desire for the merchandise, as well as an out pour of fans that requested the monthly Lap of Luxury Newsletter so they can be first to receive the newest designs,” said Bitner.

The overwhelming response to Lap of Luxury’s race-inspired apparel has fueled the company to add to its existing line and produce even more designs for eager fans. Lap of Luxury currently offers race-themed clothing such as Auto Angel, Pit Princess, Race Rockstar, and Race Rebel.

These popular items allow women to show their support for racing without having to split their loyalties and pick a particular race car driver. However, for those who do have a favorite, the Orlando-based company is in the process of obtaining licensing agreements for select racing teams and drivers in order to fill that need.
