WWE SmackDown Preview: August 19, 2011 Matches and Thoughts

Tonight is the first SmackDown show after SummerSlam and changes are going to be made. Make no mistake about it—a lot is in store for the Blue Brand tonight.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Intercontinental Title

Tyson Kidd vs. Justin Gabriel

Alberto Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan

Kelly Kelly and AJ Lee vs. Natalya and Alicia Fox

Twenty-man battle royal to crown a new No. 1 contender to Randy Orton's World Heavyweight Title.

1. I like that Zeke is getting his rematch right away. His singles' push is not working right now and they need to move on.

2. Tyson vs. Justin could be fun as Justin slowly makes his face turn and fans accept him.

3. I do not like Del Rio making an unannounced SmackDown appearance as a WWE Champion, but he was advertised to appear (likely because of him being in California), so this should be a one and done deal.

4. I have no problem with a diva's tag team match. Hopefully, we get some more teases into how the future title matches will look like.

5. Thank god for the battle royal! Christian is done in the main events for now and is not even listed as a participant. Everybody knows my pick, so I hope everyone enjoys the show!
