2011 NFL Supplemental Draft: Date, Start Time, Draft Order, and Entrants
The 2011 NFL supplemental draft will feature former Ohio State star quarterback Terrelle Pryor after he was given permission by the NFL to enter the draft. With the decision finally made, the speculation will now begin on Pryor's eventual destination in the NFL.
The 2011 supplemental draft was originally scheduled for August 17th but was postponed and it is now scheduled to take place on Monday, August 22nd at 1:00 PM.
Due to the delay, teams now have a couple extra days to evaluate the six prospects that are eligible for the draft. Pryor is the biggest name eligible for the draft but he will be suspended for the first five games of the season and will not be able to practice or play during those five weeks.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This year could be the first time at least three players are selected in the supplemental draft since 1989. In 1989, there were four players selected including two first-round quarterbacks, Timm Rosenbach and Steve Walsh.
Here are the players eligible for this year's supplemental draft:
| Terrelle Pryor(QB) | Ohio State |
| Caleb King (RB) | Georgia |
| Mike McAdoo (DE) | North Carolina |
| Torez Jones (DB) | Western Carolina |
| Tracy Wilson (DB) | Northern Illinois |
| Keenan Mace (DE) | Lindenwood |
The three players most likely to be selected in this year's draft are Pryor, King and McAdoo. McAdoo is actually considered the best prospect among many as he is extremely athletic and was very effective as a situational pass rusher in college.
Pryor will end up selected but it remains to be seen whether or not he will be a quarterback or a wide receiver in the NFL. Teams love his athleticism but it remains to be seen whether he is accurate enough to become a starting NFL quarterback.
King showed flashes of brilliance in college but injuries and off-field concerns have lowered his stock significantly. If he can put all the pieces together he could be worth the gamble.
The draft order has not yet been determined as it is done by a lottery system just before the draft begins. According to Yahoo Sports here is how the order is determined:
"The draft order is set by way of a weighted system that divides the league's teams into three groups: A) teams with fewer than six wins; B) non-playoff teams with more than six wins; and then C) the playoff teams.
Teams from Group A are then weighted, with the team with the worst record having a weighted advantage over the team with the second-worst record, which has a weighted advantage over the team with the third-worst record, and on down the line. Using the weighted system, teams are chosen from within Group A and put in draft order.
The process is repeated for Groups B and C, as well.
"
While the order has not yet been determined, here are the teams in each group:
| Carolina Panthers | Miami Dolphins | Seattle Seahawks |
| Buffalo Bills | St. Louis Rams | Green Bay Packers |
| Cincinnati Bengals | Jacksonville Jaguars | Indianapolis Colts |
| Denver Broncos | Oakland Raiders | Kansas City Chiefs |
| Arizona Cardinals | San Diego Chargers | Philadelphia Eagles |
| Cleveland Browns | New York Giants | Chicago Bears |
| Dallas Cowboys | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | New Orleans Saints |
| Houston Texans | New York Jets | |
| Minnesota Vikings | Baltimore Ravens | |
| San Francisco 49ers | Pittsburgh Steelers | |
| Detroit Lions | Atlanta Falcons | |
| Tennessee Titans | New England Patriots | |
| Washington Redskins |
