The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers will be one of the best NFL Preseason games of Week 2. Michael Vick will get his chance to prove he can compete against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

The Eagles are receiving a ton of hype after their big offseason additions, and it will be interesting to see how they handle the reigning AFC Champions. The battle of PA will be a great game to watch.

Eagles Key Addition - Nnamdi Asomugha

The biggest catch of the shortened free agency period, the Eagles have landed one of the best cornerbacks in the league. Defense wasn't Philadelphia's strong suit a year ago, but they greatly improved their defense this offseason. Other key additions:  DE Jason Babin, RB Ronnie Brown, QB Vince Young, DT Cullen Jenkins and WR Steve Smith

Steelers Key Addition - Jerricho Cotchery

Ben Roethlisberger has a new target to throw to. Adding the veteran wide receiver will help the Steelers offense immensely. Not only do they have more depth at the position now, but they get a good guy who will be motivated after being cut.

Eagles Biggest Loss - Quintin Mikell

Mikell led the Eagles in tackles last season, and replacing this safety isn't going to be easy. It's never good that your safety led the teams in tackles, but Philadelphia feels pretty good about their new additions.

Steelers Biggest Loss - None

The Steelers didn't lose anyone of great significance this offseason. The team that fell short in the Super Bowl is all returning and looking for revenge.

What They're Saying

Michael Vick GQ that at first he didn't want to play for the Eagles. "I didn't want to come to Philadelphia. Being the third-team quarterback is nothing to smile about."

He thanked Roger Goodell for helping him land in Philadelphia, and I have a feeling Eagles fans are happy with the way things worked out.

Head coach Mike Tomlin told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that seven players will be sitting out Thursday night's game. Those include top corner backs Ike Taylor and Bryant McFadden, which should make the game a little easier for Vick and DeSean Jackson.

What's Worth Watching

How often will Vick and Jackson hook up during their limited play time? Will Vince Young shine since he should be playing much more? Which defense will come out on top Thursday night?

The Eagles are the team to watch this year, and their high profile players are the reason to tune into preseason football.
