4 Teams Most Likely to Take Terrelle Pryor in the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft

Adam SpencerJun 5, 2018

Terrelle Pryor, the former Ohio State Buckeye quarterback, has finally been declared eligible for the NFL Supplemental Draft.

The ruling from the NFL came with a stipulation, though, as Pryor will be suspended for the first five games of the season.

The NFL felt like Pryor undermined their system in order to become eligible for the supplemental draft and decided to punish him for it.

But, when the supplemental draft does take place on Monday, there should still be a few teams interested in picking Pryor.

Let's take a look at four teams that might select Pryor.

Washington Redskins

1 of 4

The Redskins are currently in the middle of a Rex Grossman/John Beck quarterback battle.

Fans should be clamoring for something to shake up that debate.

Pryor would give Redskins fans someone to cheer for and should give them hope for the future.

He would also add a threat with his feet that neither Grossman nor Beck offer.

Buffalo Bills

2 of 4

The Bills have been needing a quarterback for years now. But, for some reason, they haven't taken a QB in recent drafts.

They need to make a move soon, and Pryor gives them that option.

If they can get him for a fourth round pick, they should do it.

Miami Dolphins

3 of 4

If Chad Henne struggles in the early part of the 2011 season, the Dolphins don't have much of a backup plan.

If they took Pryor in the supplemental draft, though, they could potentially have him ready by Week 8 if the aforementioned Henne distress takes place.

The Dolphins have been linked to Brett Favre this offseason. However, they should probably give Pryor a shot before going with Favre.

The Seahawks are another team with lackluster quarterbacks.

They are currently going into the season with Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst at the position.

If they want a potential upgrade, they should take a flier on Pryor.

He has the potential to be a much better version of Jackson, which would certainly make most Seahawk fans very happy.
