NFL Preseason: Houston Texans Need to Swoop Up, Grab Victory over the Saints
Comparing the Houston Texans and the New Orleans Saints was no fun for me when I saw the data of total wins per season from 2002 to 2010.
Here is the data:
| Saints | Texans | Diff | Year |
| 9 | 4 | -5 | 2002 |
| 8 | 5 | -3 | 2003 |
| 8 | 7 | -1 | 2004 |
| 3 | 2 | -1 | 2005 |
| 10 | 6 | -4 | 2006 |
| 7 | 8 | 1 | 2007 |
| 8 | 8 | 0 | 2008 |
| 13 | 9 | -4 | 2009 |
| 11 | 6 | -5 | 2010 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A powerful, positive outlook is needed even for the preseason game scheduled for Aug. 20.
It looks like 2007 and 2008 were decent years when you compare the two teams in total wins per season. Both teams dropped in performance from 2009 to 2010.
The Saints dropped from an impressive 13 wins in 2009 to 11 wins in 2010. Similarly, the Texans dropped from nine total wins in 2009 to only six wins in 2010.
Both curves are pointed downward in the graph. There is a need for the Texans to demonstrate their prowess in the preseason. They need to swoop up and grab victory to make a statement in 2011.
Can the Texans do it? Why not? Let's say, yes they can!
