Barcelona vs. Real Madrid Fight Video: Watch Cesc Fabregas and Marcelo's Battle
The Spanish Super Cup turned into the Spanish Super Scrum when Marcelo decided he had quite enough of Cesc Fabregas and took him to the ground. The only good note on the night was that there wasn't an ounce of love lost.
The posted video shows the closing moments of what was a cracking match between two clubs that do one thing better than play football and that is hate each other.
The contest was back and forth for 86 minutes. In the 87th, Barcelona got use out of their new toy, Cesc Fabregas. The prodigal son had returned and he led a vicious attack that ended when Lionel Messi headed home the game winner on an Adriano cross.

Real Madrid was left to fume and fume...and then they boiled over. As the game entered extra time, recently-acquired Fabregas held the ball at mid-pitch. As he turned to move away from the defense, Los Blancos defender Marcelo came swooping in.
As you can see, Marcelo scissor kicks Fabregas to the ground. You could almost hear all of Barcelona scream in unison, "Noooo." It is a deplorable act that should be seen as treacherous no matter the loyalty you claim.
What ensued could best be described as a polite riot. The two teams came together and nearly settled the business of the Super Cup off the pitch.
Even the coaches got in on the action. Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, went so far as to push the face of Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova. You can see the cheap shot at around the 2:45 mark.
When cooler heads needed to prevail, the "Special One" was trying to instigate the melee further. This football fan just wishes there wasn't a La Liga strike looming.
After this much passion and zeal, there is one thing that needs to happen post haste. Get these boys back on the pitch.
