Quarterbacks
Start
Tyler Thigpen (Chiefs) vs. Saints- Over his last three games, Thigpen has thrown for at least 260 yards twice and has six TD passes to zero interceptions. He has a favorable matchup this week against a Saints defense that allowed rookie QB Matt Ryan to throw for 248 yards and two TDs last week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Saints placed CB Mike McKenzie on injured reserve with a fractured kneecap. It only makes the secondary weaker that has already allowed the 27th most passing yards in the league.
Matt Ryan (Falcons) vs. Broncos- Ryan has thrown at least two TD passes in three straight games and now has 11 TD passes to five interceptions on the season. Ryan should do well against a Broncos defense that is 28th in the NFL in passing yards allowed.
WR Roddy White is tied for second in the league with 801 receiving yards and WR Michael Jenkins has at least 50 yards receiving in four straight games. Broncos CB Champ Bailey was inactive last week with a groin injury.
Honorable mention: Jeff Garcia (Bucs) vs. Vikings
Sit
Joe Flacco (Ravens) vs. Giants- The Ravens have won four straight games and Flacco has not thrown an interception during the team’s win streak. However, he has a tough matchup this week against the New York Giants. The Giants are second in the league with 30 sacks and are tied for fourth with 12 interceptions.
Gus Frerotte (Vikings) vs. Bucs- Frerotte threw for a season low 151 yards last week and had his second game with at least three interceptions. The Bucs are fifth in the NFL in passing yards allowed and are tied for fourth with 12 interceptions.
Honorable mention: Matt Hasselbeck (Seahawks) vs. Cardinals
Running backs
Start
Jamal Lewis (Browns) vs. Bills- Lewis has carried the ball at least 19 times his past six games. He has four TDs and rushed for at least 79 yards in four of those games. Pats RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 105 yards and a TD last week against the Bills last week.
Julius Jones (Seahawks) vs. Cardinals- Jones rushed for 88 yards on 16 carries last week against the Dolphins. His 90 total yards was highest outing since Week Three vs. the Rams. With QB Matt Hasselbeck back this week look for Jones to be relied upon and receive more carries.
Honorable mention: Ricky Williams (Dolphins) vs. Raiders
Sit
Joseph Addai (Colts) vs. Texans- Since returning from injury Addai has just 66 yards rushing yards in his past two games. Even though he faced the Pats and Steelers, his hamstring does not appear 100 percent.
Cedric Benson (Bengals) vs. Colts- Benson is coming off his best game as a Bengal rushing for 104 yards against the Jags in Week Nine. The Eagles forced three fumbles last week and will stuff people in the box to stop Benson.
Honorable mention: Justin Fargas (Raiders) vs. Dolphins
Wide Receivers
Start
Antonio Bryant (Bucs) vs. Vikings- Bryant has three games over 100 yards receiving and is 12th in the league with 73 targets. He has caught 20 passes over his past three games His 42 receptions since Week Three are tied for fifth in the league. He should continue his success against a mediocre Vikings secondary.
Eddie Royal (Broncos) vs. Falcons- Royal is 10th in the NFL with 625 receiving yards. He has 22 catches over his past three games and had a career high 164 yards against the Browns last week.
Honorable mention: Mark Bradley (Chiefs) vs. Saints
Sit
Braylon Edwards (Browns) vs. Bills- New starting QB Brady Quinn threw a lot of underneath passes to TE Kellen Winslow last week. Edwards finished the game against the Broncos with one catch for 15 yards.
Santonio Holmes (Steelers) vs. Chargers- Holmes has 59 receiving yards the past two games and has just two TD receptions this season so far. This could be his breakout game against a soft Chargers secondary but Holmes has been inconsistent all season.
Honorable mention: Chad Johnson (Bengals) vs. Eagles
Tight End
Start
Tony Scheffler (Broncos) vs. Falcons- Scheffler caught four passes for 92 yards against the Browns last week. It appears his groin injury is behind him and should continue to post strong games.
Honorable mention: Dustin Keller (Jets) vs. Pats
Sit
Visanthe Shiancoe (Vikings) vs. Bucs- Shiancoe caught three passes for just four yards last week. The Bucs D should be able to limit his production.
Honorable mention: Todd Heap (Ravens vs. Giants)
Kicker
Start
Phil Dawson (Browns) vs. Bills- Dawson has 32 points over his past three games converting all five of his field goals. He has also made a 54-yarder in Week 10 and a 52-yarder in Week 11.
Honorable mention: Jason Elam (Falcons) vs. Broncos
Sit
Matt Stover (Ravens) vs. Giants- The Ravens turned to rookie K Steven Hauschka to attempt a 54-yarder last week. Stover is 24th in the NFL with 12 field goal attempts and his opportunities should be limited against a tough Giants defense.
Honorable mention: Josh Scobee (Jags) vs. Titans
Defense
Start
Panthers vs. Lions: The Panthers recorded five sacks and five takeaways against the Raiders last week. They should have another big week against the Lions that are last in the league in points and 29th in total yards per game
Honorable mention: Dolphins vs. Raiders
Sit
Bills vs. Browns- The Bills have not had a multi-sack game the past six weeks and are 27th in the league with five interceptions. The Browns moved the ball last week with Brady Quinn under center.
Honorable mention: Bears vs. Packers
