WWE Rumor: Jericho Speaks on Punk/Kevin Nash Angle & PG Rating
For those who do not know, I am a big Jericho fan. He is not the "end all be all God" many portray him as, but he is a great talent that I can't wait to return to WWE.
In a recent interview, he spoke on a couple topics in the wrestling business, and I wanted to share them with you, as well as put my two cents into what he said.
First, he makes a great point that I have been stressing over and over and over since I began writing. The PG rating for WWE right now means nothing.

When people complain about aspects of the product, the rating on a show should have nothing to do with any argument being made.
Sorry for the long quote, but Jericho said it best here: "That's a cop out if people say 'well, I don't like it because it's PG-13 or I can't work within the PG-13 system.' That's BS. It doesn't matter. If you're a good guitar player, you can play Van Halen or Georg Jensen jazz. It's just an excuse."
Amen! Enough of the constant amazing Attitude Era moments (yet ignoring the dreadful ones) being brought up and/or how Cena's PG language is terrible these days.
Re-read the Jericho quote above, when it comes to my thoughts on the rating.
The other highlight I wanted to cover was the "worked shoots" going on right now in WWE. Again, Jericho hit my thoughts dead on. Right on the nail!
Here is a direct quote from Chris: "That's also why I don't think the thing (Kevin) Nash worked out so well this week because they went too inside."
Exactly what I have been saying...WE may love the story going on, but how many 10-year-olds in the crowd knew who Oz was before they were even born?!?! Vinny Vegas? What is Punk talking about?
Saying "vanilla midget" on live TV did not do that segment any favors either. They can "break the fourth wall," but please use some basic language we all understand next time.

I did.
